Here in the West Grantham Group of Parishes we are very lucky to have three churches with peals of ringable bells and two very active bands of ringers to ring them. Our ringers range in age from 11 to (somewhat) over 80, and each band has a weekly practice and rings for services on Sundays. If requested, we also ring for weddings and toll the bells for funerals.
It has also been an honour to ring for national events such as the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of HM King Charles III.
In 2022, our ringers took part in the Lincoln Diocesan Guild of Church Bellringers Six Bell Striking competition and won the Ted Colley Plate trophy and our young people have been part of the Lincolnshire Team in the Ringing World National Youth Competitions for many years.
